   1. tomcat6 is critical (over a year old) and easy to test (MrsB, 20:42:11)
   2. libyaml is also critical and partially tested by Stormi (MrsB, 20:42:39)
   3. chrony is probably most important of the non-critical ones (MrsB, 20:43:35)
   4. Barring any surprises the flood of updates should subside a bit now (MrsB, 20:45:15)
   5. we're also expecting a kde update to land next week, it's alot of packages but simple to test, just install and use. (MrsB, 20:47:26)

   1. We think mate updates would be best bundled into one bg mate update when they're all ready (MrsB, 20:51:29)

   4. when validating backports (which are our lowest priority) just list srpms in the validation comment and validate as normal. There won't be advisories for them in the same way as updates. (MrsB, 20:54:38)
